flea market finds & a new app

So my new favorite thing is the insanely cool hipstamatic iphone app. It turns your photos into little faux analog delights. I've had it for less than a week and it makes me giddy. New toys are so much fun! Really - how cool are these photos? I managed to get to the flea market early enough this morning to find some neat stuff. This vintage folk art motorcycle is made out of old car parts. I think it's pretty amazing and It's already found a home on my book shelf.

I was super excited to find a bucket full of old iron shoe forms. These are nice & heavy with just the right amount of rust. I think they'll make great bookends. I should have a few sets listed in the shop in a week or so.

I also stumbled on this neat old wooden box. It's handmade from a bunch of different advertising crates and held together with carpenters glue. I love the graphics & it should make a nice storage box.

Had to include this photo of Chester - haming it up for the camera. He's just too cute. Hope you all had a great weekend! New stuff in the shop all this week ...
